fridge freezer urgent advice needed

I have just bought a new fridge freezer from Currys. My previous one was working well but I found it too small. It had the freezer on top of the fridge instead of the draws that you get nowadays at the bottom. It worked well. Anyway long story short, I wanted one that was frost free. I accidentally got the wrong one so I am in the process of getting it changed. In the meantime, Currys have very kindly said I can use the one that was wrongly delivered until my proper one arrives in a few day because otherwise I would be without a fridge freezer.

I was happy about that and bought some basic stuff to put in it bearing in mind I will have to empty it when the new one arrives and then wait four hours for it to settle before i can use it so I just want enough to tide me over. Anyway I plug it in and put things in like butter and milk and bread. The fridge setting go from zero to 5. I have put the setting up to 5 but the items do not feel that cold. On my old fridge the settings were from zero to 6 and if I put it at 6 it was too cold so I generally kept the setting at 4 which made the milk feel very cold.

The milk in this temporary fridge does not really feel that cold even at the highest setting. I cannot phone Currys to ask because it is out of hours and they are closed so I am asking if anyone here has had issues with fridges that do not feel cold enough at the higher settings.

I know am not keeping this fridge but even so, I would expect the items do feel an awful lot colder on the highest setting. It is a Hoover. I sincerely hope the frost free one that is coming in a few days time has better cooler settings otherwise I will have to get it returned because what is the use of having a fridge that does not get the items cool enough. I am wondering if the fridge thermostat is faulty on this temporary one? The frost free one I am getting is a Becko

Any advice gratefully received. I am going to phone Currys in the morning t
