Rug doctor Vs Professional

Hello Good People,
I'm in the process of buying a 1 bed house, the current owners have a Dog and the carpets look in need of a good clean. Plan is to replace the flooring in a couple of years.

Would people recommend hiring a rug doctor and DIY £45ish or getting the Pros £100ish in?

I have used both and I prefer the professional one at least I don’t have to do it myself. I found the rug doctor annoying and the products I bought wasn’t even enough and it didn’t clean properly so in my opinion I would rather higher professional

I bought a vax and did ours myself. It got out a huge amount of filth, but in retrospect I wish we’d just replaced the flooring before we moved in /got settled.

Thanks @Cecilia2016 and @mybrainhurtsalot. I hope the deals I've found for someone to come in and do it for me are still around by the time I get the keys.

I wish replacing the floors was an option but won't have the money to put the flooring I want down straight away and I've not decided on hard floors or carpets downstairs yet.
