It’s a chemical smell. We have a lovely cleaner who only uses products we supply, she doesn’t use bleach and none of the other products give off the same smell as the chemical one. When we are staying somewhere else I notice the chemical smell on our clothes, it smells like we live in a hospital! I have NO idea where this smell comes from. My son and I have a very strong sense of smell, dd and dh can’t smell it at all

Any ideas what might be causing it? The house didn’t smell like this when we bought it so it is obviously something we are doing (we did completely renovate though).
