What washing machine would you recommend?

We need a new washing machine as my 5 year old Samsung one is dying! Won't spin anymore and no one will tell me how much it will cost to repair until I pay for them to come look at it!

It needs to be at least 8kg and have a good warranty too as I do 3-5 washes a day!!!

I'm looking at Miele ones as we have one of their tumble dryers and I'm tempted by one but would like to hear what people recommend. I don't want another Samsung as their after care hasn't been up to scratch!

Just a thought, but if it won't spin but everything else seems OK it could be something as simple as the brushes needing to be replaced, which they do every few years. The part will be cheap & it's a DIY job, slightly fiddly but easy enough. I have a 15 year old Siemens, a fairly basic model, and we've changed the brushes twice when it's refused to spin. That's all the maintenance it's ever needed.

I have a meile, only a few months old. My last machine was a meile too and it lasted for fourteen years with only one minor fault before it died completely. Hoping the new machine is just as good.
