Any recommendations please? Son has a small flat with wooden floors and doesn’t want to pay a fortune.
Thanks

A Henry. They're about £100 but sometimes you get good deals. If he wants to spend less, a Hoover turbo cyclinder, they're about £60. I always say a cylinder is better but I have stairs

Cheapest Meile there is,usually about £100.

Definitely a Henry, very robust and last forever.

Our Miele cylinder has lasted 10 years so far and still going strong. Has survived cleaning builders dust too.

GuyFawkesDay · 27/12/2019 13:10

Which? Will tell you Amazon own bagged cylinder one is a best buy and an absolute steal at £45.

Otherwise, get a Miele. It'll do you a decade minimum and they're fantastic. Outdo every Dyson I've ever used.

Henry. I've had many vacuum cleaners and it's by far the best.

Vax upright bagless. Mac Air model is fine. I live in a flat too. Paid about £70? Easy to store.

I'm not loving anything I've looked at yet... Maybe some quirky flats? The tiny platforms aren't really scratching the Stella McCartney itch

Shit. Sorry that was for my shoe thread!
