How would you clean this?

The fabric doesn't come off at all unfortunately.

So far I have tried:
Hot soapy water
Zoflora
Baby wipes

I'm sure it is 'clean' but it is still quite stained, especially on the arm rests.

Is there anything I can do oh wise ones?

How would you clean this?

Zoflora wouldn’t clean it or remove stains as it’s a disinfectant.

I have heard of people using the doctor Beckmans carpet stain remover on things like this.

You could try biological washing powder , or vanish and spot wash the stains . ( or put it out for the bin men because it’s truly hideous Smile)

WeeDangerousSpike · 16/12/2019 10:48

I would try bio washing powder made strong with hot water, but dissolved, not a paste. Rub it on with a wrung out cloth so it doesn't get too wet, then go over it with a steam cleaner. The steam seems to activate the stain removal much better.

If you have a wet vac I'd then suck out all the water you can, I wouldn't use the wet vac to wash it because it makes it too wet and dries with watermarks and looks even worse.

Steam cleaner. I had one very small (which was intended to use on clothes) but would have worked fine on furniture as well.

I would try diluted washing up liquid on a flannel and giving it a rub

NeverDropYourMoonCup · 16/12/2019 21:31

Packet of firelighters and a Clipper.

zzzink · 17/12/2019 21:02

Perhaps offer it to the local community centre as an antique to sell so that they can fix the roof?

Dlm74 · 17/12/2019 21:03

Would use bio washing powder in hot water with zoflora added to it and scrubbing brush then blot dry

manicmij · 17/12/2019 21:30

Vanish fabric cleaner spray
Biotex powder

wowfudge · 17/12/2019 22:01

Hot water fixes stains so only use cold or warm water. Stardrops Original in water works really well on upholstery and carpet.

Good lord that’s ugly!

Wavey123 · 18/12/2019 07:33

I think your time would be better spent replacing it with something wipeable, something like that is always going to attract sticky fingers

pinkhighlighter2 · 18/12/2019 07:35

There is a spray called elbow grease. It's a yellow bottle. I'm pretty sure that will get most of the stains off

pinkhighlighter2 · 18/12/2019 07:36

@zzzink wins the internet today 😂

Goldwispa · 19/12/2019 11:34

Scrub with baby wipes
