I’m looking to get a housekeeper as I’m increasing my hours at work. The king of things I’m looking for include
Tidying up
Hoovering cleaning and mopping floors
Emptying bins
Cleaning bathrooms
Cleaning kitchen including applicances like oven on a regular basis
Hoovering and dusting bedrooms
Washing and changing bed sheets
Laundry
Ironing
Collecting parcels
Putting clothes away
Making beds
Put bins back

I haven’t had a housekeeper before and would like your opinion if the above is
A) reasonable to ask of a housekeeper
B) what kind of questions to ask / vetting to get a decent housekeeper.

I’m new to the area so haven’t got friends and family to ask otherwise I would go on recommendations.

Thank you

I’m a cleaner and would be happy to do most things on your list except collecting parcels. Tidying up would depend how messy your house is.

Have a look online for a cleaner and go from the vibe they give off. I would want someone to have a clear DBS certificate and insurance at the minimum.

Bare in mind the tasks you are asking for would take around 3-4 hours also.
