HOPing someone can help, I bought a gas cooker at Argos on 11th of November, I paid for it to be installed and that was due on the 29th of November, I waited in all day and they just never showed. I called Argos who said because of Black Friday it was delayed despite the fact I never bought it as part of Black Friday. They said they would rearrange it for the 1st of December however again no show. I called again and was basically told delivery dates “aren’t guaranteed” and it could be delivered any day up until the 17th of December. I called back again to query that and was now told they would do it till January! I need a new cooker as mine is broke and I have 4 kids at home. I would have went elsewhere but I’m using a family’s members Argos card to pay for it as I don’t have the money up front so can’t go anywhere else! In the end they said they could just deliver the cooker but not install it if I want it for Christmas. So I felt like I had no choice but to agree to that but now I’m struggling to find out how I can get it connected, like I said it’s gas. Where can I find someone to connect it?? Thanks
