Seal on bottom of a fixed shower screen

We have moved to a property where the bathroom has a walk in type shower. There's a very shallow shower tray and a fixed screen. (There's a metal arm that is fixed to both the top of the screen and the wall) The problem is that the seal at the bottom of the screen needs replacing/cleaning but I can't get to it as the screen is fixed so there's no movement. Does anyone have the answer to this??

Is it just limescale that it’s covered in? A picture would help, but some strong limescale remover, let it sit for a while then scrub off. I think HG do a particularly good one. Or astonish.

Ooh I think I've got some of that HG stuff somewhere. I'll give that a go. I couldn't get a pic at the time of posting as the shower was in use by hubby and I wouldn't want to scare anyone!! I'm so used to just taking the seal off the bottom of a shower screen to clean it or replace it as in our old house it was a shower over the bath so the screen was a hinges one that I could get to the bottom of easily. It could just be a build up of limescale but it's quite black in places too. Just looks a bit grim in an otherwise sparkly bathroom. Will give the HG stuff a go, thanks 😊
