Two section mop bucket - why can’t I find one?

I need a replacement for my old mop bucket, so I went out to Sainsbury’s to get one. Old bucket had one side for the clean water, and the other side with a wringer to wring the dirty water into. Logical, no?

So why do all the mop buckets on my high street have only one section which you wring the dirty water into and then use to continue cleaning the floor? What am I missing? And where can I get a proper two section mop bucket? Ideally without buying a mop as well, because I’ve got a new one of those already.

Because you're not looking in WILKO?

I haven’t physically been to Wilko but their website suggests they don’t have one.

You need a good old-fashioned ironmongers shop.

One excellent old fashioned iron mongers, and two new-fangled all purpose homeware stores. Neither had them.

Nisbets is a great shout though, thanks - of course they’d have them. Still shouldn’t be so difficult though.

Ive been harping on about a single bucket supplied with a mop for years on here.
Sheer insanity. Squeezing the dirty water into the single bucket and washing the rest of the floor with this dirty water ! Shock
Lakeland did them years ago when I got mine.

I didn't know that split buckets existed! And I've been mopping my floor thinking why doesn't someone invent a split bucket!! Thanks for the find.
