Your top tips for cleaning a self cleaning oven pkease

We have 2 built in Neff ovens. The top small one is oven and microwave and the bottom larger one.
The larger bottom one has an eco-clean function and is supposedly a self-cleaning oven so I am limited as to what I can use but I know that I can take the door off and I definitely need something to get the grease and oil stains off the glass. I’ve looked at the Neff degreaser product but the two reviews have put me right off.
And is there anything that I can use in the self clean oven for the stain on the floor of the oven?
TIA

I have two full size Neff ovens.

I take the shelves and the shelf supports out and put them in an Oven Pride bag with the liquid.
Pour some of the Oven pride liquid on the oven floor and leave to do its job.

The glass doors I clean by using a cheapie dishwasher tablet, dipped in warm water and then scour the glass with it. It doesn't harm the glass at all. Brings it up like new.

Remove the gunk from bottom of oven and then put the ovens on self clean for an hour.

Rinse shelves etc and pop back in oven.

All lovely and sparkly again.

If you use an oven liner it won't get in a mess.

thank you MMC. I'm going to try the dishwasher tablet trick right now.

thank you MMC, that worked a treat except.....

I didn't actually take the door off and now some tiny particles of the dishwasher tablet powder have gone down between the two pieces of glass!

Has anyone else successfully removed a Slide and Hide door and taken it apart?
