Morning all! I'm up early so I thought I'd have a bash at starting the thread.

I ill be doing a bit of a rushed FLY around this morning, a i have visitors later I'll report back after breakfast....

Jas the missing W's are making me

I made it to the theatre and managed with a lot of positive thinking to relax after the first 20mins or so and really enjoyed myself We had a crisis before we left when our babysitter rang to say she was stuck 20miles away because of a cancelled train! After a minor panic her mum came to the rescue and came and helped out until her dd could make it home, phew! It was fun to take dd out late in the evening as a treat without ds, she's really interested in theatre so loved the whole experience

We're supposed to be meeting some friends at the local wildlife park for look round and a picnic today. I'm not 100% sure about going as the weather is looking pretty yukky at the moment..we need to leave in about an hour and a half so I hope it cheers up a bit before then.

No FLYing really today but I hope to come home via the supermarket and get the weekly shop out of the way.

I was my DHs PA last night fixing up meetings etc so didnt get any housework done except for hoovering the living room. Will try and do both missions tonight.

Ed has been too sweet this morning, woke us, told us the list of what we needed to do {'Get up, wash your face, clean your teeth, get dressed, go downstairs, make breakfast') then started to do it. Even getting the cornflakes out and chopping the banana!

And he's come to a compromise with me. He was refusing to go for a walk so I played him at his own game and had an Ed style tantrum. He conceeded to go berry hunting but doesn't want to get prickled now (and kissed me, said I was a good mummy and to stop crying)

I didn't do too bad yesterday for my first day back at the FLYing. Completed most of the list. Didn't manage to do the dining room and downstairs cloakroom so they're on my list for today:

• mission
• kitchen tidied, dishwasher etc done
• living room tidied done
• dining room
• downstairs cloakroom
• grocery shopping

Hope you all have a great day, even though it's only my second day the house is looking soooo much better already

Managed to do yesterdays mission this morning so will try and do today's tonight . We've been out all morning but have come back and had an early lunch. Kitchen is now cleared away too

Off out again this morning so have a nice afternoon everyone!

Well it's 3:30 and this is my list of to dos from this morning

Meeting with community worker DONE

Meeting took an hour but we got the funding application completed

Berry hunting was fun, we got enough for a good crumble. I could have got more but I remembered that I'm wearing a strapless gown at the wedding and I can't look like I've been fighting a bramble patch on the photos There's loads more to come but they are all red at the moment. I will stalk them till they're plump and black and juicy.

Ed has been replaced by a calm quiet well behaved kid....[hm] I'm waiting the resurgence of devil child.

Better crack on...Don't really need to reorganise the fridge as I've found the green pesto.

Looks like everyone is busy today
I didn't get the lawn mowed in the end...will have to do it tomorrow instead. I did go to the park, and go for a natter at a friends house though. DS had his jabs and was as cool as a cucumber!! The health visitor was superb though, she was lovely, and did it in super quick time she told him she was giving him some extra muscles to help him out when he goes to big school he seemed convinced though

Well supper is in...good old fish and chips tonight.

Cracking isn't it Luda I've listened to the album twice this aft. He's just awesome.

I've put up the shower curtains...not an easy job, we have one of those oval hoops suspended from the ceiling and voile curtains. You have to tie each loop in a bow and there's 13 loops on each. I was balancing on step ladders and the roll top of the bath tying bows above my head for 30 mins. They can stay up for a few months now

Oh and I've taken the ladders back to the cellar.

Well - Day 2 back in the flying zone and my internet has been down ALL day until just now - was doing my head in but was a blessing really as I got loads done!!!

Cleared the playroom out which was huge task!
Hoovered throughout whole house
3 loads of washing done
about 6 loads of washin put away
Remaining case from holiday unpacked
Tidied living room

Just need to pack for our little trip to manchester tomorrow and that will be me done

Like Laloop (or was it luda) its only my 2nd day but WHOLE house looks way better already!!

Evening all

We've had a lovely day out with friends Kids were exhausted by the time we started home at 3ish but I decided to get the supermarket shop out of the way on the way home (would have meant an extra 15mile round trip this evening otherwise) Came home, unpacked the shopping and cleared out the freezer while I was at it

Very tired now, off to have a warm bath then a read of my book.

Hello to all. Will try not to take too long to post as I was up at 6am, put 3 loads in the w/m before going to work and then came home from work to fetch dd for her appointment in town (and we did a pile of stuff in town too) and then food shopping, then tea and ironing (all of about 20 mins!) then got the kids off to bed. I'm tired so need to hit the sack but first I thought I should share my secret with you. I have discovered how to get lots of jobs on a list done. You write a list of jobs to be done, then go off to work leaving dh, ds and dd at home all day to do them! It has to be one of the most successful FLY days ever!!!

Done:-
~ 3 washing loads by me early morning
~ another 2 later in the day
~ phone docs for appointment
~ lawn cut
~ windows cleaned
~ cat brushed
~ dog brushed
~ clothes in from washing line
~ clothes out to washing line
~ clothes folded on sofa and onto airer
~ maths (ds only)
~ washing up
~ contact plumbers re quotes (we had one for the bathroom and it was astronomical. I asked a work colleague to guess it today and she underestimated by 3 times the amount and she thought she'd over estimated it!)
~ go to library (I did this!)
~ go to optician (this too)
~ food shopping (me again)
~ pay cheque into bank (ditto)
~ write exam congrats card and b/d card and post (")
~ get a spare key cut (")
~ take dd to appointment (")
~ walk the dog
~ wash the dog - they took her to the beach

Right. Off to bed. If I don't see you tomorrow, I'll be away for a week. I hope we all have good weather and an enjoyable week.
