A second fridge freezer

Would it be expensive to run?

I bought a used American Fridge Freezer about 10 years ago and it worked amazing until January. I replaced it with a quadrant fridge freezer bought from a reputable charity shop with a six month warranty. 2 mo this out of warranty and the fridge freezer has stopped working, completely. I have an engineer coming tomorrow but by that point I've been without a fridge or freezer for 10 days and it's extremely irritating! Not to mention the food we lost. I've wanted a second freezer for a while and I'm a big fan of buying used to get better quality than what I could afford new. It seems that it is cheaper to buy a fridge freezer than a standalone freezer. This would also mean a spare for if the first broke down. I would only really use the second freezer and not the fridge, will it be very expensive??
