Horrific wee smell

Help! We have a concealed toilet pipe that's completely tiled in. A few months ago, the toilet shifted forward, and we ended up with a leak which took a while to detect. We fixed it, no problem.

Now, the toilet is still fixed, but there's a strong ammoniac smell that makes our loo smell like a public toilet. Obviously the nuclear option is to pull out the tiles and start again, but that'll be £££, even if we can find someone willing to take such a small and gross job (London - tradesmen pick and choose here).

Does anyone have any product or technique recommendations to get rid of it?

Check if your insurance will cover it. Mine did in a similar situation.

Innnteresting - I'll check. Though would rather de-pong what's already there... thanks!

I wonder if it is maybe that the toilet is not actually flushing properly. Our toilet has recently started smelling like a men’s urinal, since we had a new flusher installed. I put a few sheets of toilet paper just under the rim at the front of the bowl and flushed. Sure enough, it didn’t get wet when I flushed indicating that the flush water does not go all around the bowl. Not sure what to do about it though other than keep a jug of water nearby to swill the bowl every few flushes.
