Washing machine not rinsing .

Very shocked at reading that washing machines have been re graded so to speak .I have always been under the impression that A+++ was the cost effective grade . So if I have to re- rinse my washing on every wash , how is that cost effective . I have had this new machine about 4 months .in fact I purchased a couple days before going on holiday .so never used at all before going away .I came back and within a few days started itching after every shower .I thought it may have been the sun burn I had from holiday .So over a few months I have been wracking my brain .my mrs started itching as well , but not till recently. Her eyes had been irritated quite severe . Now I been reading a bit about how the new washing machines have been regarded to make them appear eco friendly and all that rubbish .turns out ,they have a built in water saving system .not a bad idea .....until it stops your detergent rinsing out your load properly .Hence I have been struggling to stop itching ,probably because there is detergent still in all the clothing I have been wearing . Sorry for long story but I want my old washing machine back as at least I never itched .

Maybe use less detergent and add an extra rinse cycle. And dont overload the machine. Which machine is it?

My new 1400 spin washing machine is rated A+++ it only spins 1400 on a 3.5 hour hot wash. On other programs the spin is uselessI have to wait until it stops & do a final spin 1400 spin.
I’m annoyed with myself that I didn’t have my old machine repaired.

Machine is the Hoover 10kg Dynamic Next A+++. Not happy with rinsing . Bubbles still in the 3rd rinse .

Powder always makes us itch, I only use it to give the machine a good seeing too every month then back to liquid. It sounds like you're using too much of whatever detergent you use.

I had a washing engineer out last week who told me to slightly overload the machine as it's better Hmm I told him it goes against everything I'd learned about washing machines. Apparently it's better for the balancing bit it does.

Not answering the question, but it's still boggling my head a bit Grin
