Kitchen sponge alternative

Hi can anyone recommend a kitchen sponge alternative please, I’d like something more hygienic than normal sponges. I’ve seen silicone ones but how do they scrub off dried/baked on food?
Thanks

I am currently using a Minky sponge and I like it as I can chuck it in the washing machine.

Loofahs are also fabulous, they dont hold water so dry really quickly, and after a few months when they are past it you can just compost it.

I have a basket of dishcloths which get used and put into a washing basket, and I use coconut husk scourers for things which need scrubbing. They compost down once used up.

Coconut husk scourers are really good for getting dried off grot.

I just stick my sponges and cloths in to wash every other day or so.

Normal metal scourer - it goes in recycling. And washcloths that are machine washed at 90.

I'm using Minkys too,but there is a better version out in Tesco, can't remember the brand but it's slightly bigger and keeps its shape better after washing. It's the same brand that makes scourers.

The silicon ones don't work.
