How to get biro out of fabric sofa?!

As the title says, does anyone know how to get biro pen out of a fabric sofa?

Put a towel or something under the stain to prevent it from expanding then iv always used a clean white cloth and some white wine or other clear alcohol scrub it and leave it 5-10 mins then scrub again and should come away. It’s always worked for me x

I always used to use methalayted spirits (meths) to get biro out of school shirts. I'd try on a very inconspicuous piece of fabric first.

Where do you get alcohol scrub or meths from?

I use white wine or any clear alcohol like vodka not a scrub. I ment pour on the alcohol and then scrub It leave for 5-10 mins then Scrub again. No idea about meths though x

Hairspray gets it out of clothes, worth a try!
