Cleaning plaster dust from hardwood floor

Anyone have any tips for getting plaster dust out of hardwood floor? I was thinking about using a steam mop but then read that you shouldn't use them on wood floors. Thanks

Have you hoovered it? I would think a damp mop should work, but you’d have to rinse it out a lot.

Just constant mopping unfortunately.

Yep, just mopping over and over and over and over again, letting it dry in between

Thanks all. Yes I've hoovered and mopped once but sounds like I might need to do more mopping then!

I had a similar problem. A room got replastered and decorated and, despite being protected, our wood floor was engrained with plaster dust. No amount of mopping got it out The only thing which worked for me was olive oil and very carefully rubbing over the floor. The plaster dust seemed to disolve. May be worth a go (in a inconspicuous area first).
