Dylon dye

I have some red seat cushions I'd like to dye, was hoping for a dark green. I've never used dye before - will they just dye to green or is it like mixing paint where I will end up with brown?! Thanks.

You’ll end up with a muddy red at best, you can strip colour using dylon colour remover though, John Lewis sell it.

Check what the fabric is. Polyester and other synthetics won't dye.
Thread is usually polyester and will still be the original colour.
Personally I would go for a plum shade.
