How do I stop new towels from shedding fluff!!!!!

Months ago I bought some good quality red towels from John Lewis.

I have washed and tumble dried them at least six times but I am unable to use them because everytime I try to dry after shower etc I am covered in fluff.

Is there a solution?????

You mustn't use fabric softener, or tumble dry them, as both of these things encourage shredding. About 3 washes normally clears all the fluff and hanging them in the garden to dry helps.
