I’ve been using fairy for a few years but live in very hard water area and it just doesn’t seem to be cutting it and the smell fades as soon as the laundry is dry.

I’d like to find something that leaves everything smelling ultra fresh

Do you use liquid or powder? Fabric softener or not?

Ariel and blue comfort is my favourite combination. Great clean from the powder, works well in our vvvv hard water and the blue comfort is my all time fave. Smells all fresh and yummy

I use Ariel tabs or powder. Not really bothered about fresh smell as long as my clothes are clean and it doesn't effect our skin.
Don't people use fabric conditioner for the scent side of laundry?

I use asda own make tropical liquid capsuals and then unstoppables the gold one (cant remember the name) the smell is amazing and lasts for weeks on fresh clothes bed sheets etc! it is expensive but you can buy out of places like savers b&m and its £4 xx

We have been using the all in one detergent sheets since they were recommended to us. Even great for hand washing when traveling.

I use Lidl's own biological powder. Leaves a lovely smell and is a lot cheaper than other powders.
