I used elbow grease to get sharpie out of my cream carpet and it worked. I’ve heard white wine is good for getting stains out aswell. Have you tried nail varnish remover? I would try with cotton buds as it will smear x

Sorry OP, I did this as a tween to my parents cream carpet and tried to use nail polish remover which created a white patch as it bleached the carpet. They then replaced the carpet with parquet a few years later.

Could you cover the patch with a carpet? Rug?

OK, this really does work, got bright green nail polish out of a cream carpet.

You need a spray bottle of water, hairspray and a nail brush.

Spray the nail varnish with water, then hairspray. Scrub and repeat. Over and over and over. It will slowly come out.

Hey, I have kept at it with nail varnish remover, and the pink stuff! It's Just about out! But feel like I might wake up with a big hole in my carpet now lol x
