Help - I’ve ruined my dress!

I’ve accidentally put my mustard colour corduroy dress in with a dark wash and it’s come out a murky dark colour. Is there anything I can wash it in to rescue it and restore its original colour?

No idea of the correct answer to this question, but I once did the same to one of DHs white shirts. In the end I just washed it on it's own a couple more times and it was back to brilliant white 🤷🏼‍♀️

Dr Beckmann make something called colour run remover that you wash with the dulled garment, it saved a dress of mine with red and white stripes which became red and pink on the first wash!

I'd try the DR Beckmans stuff as suggested above, I've heard good things about it.

If not, maybe throw the dress in the wash with some Dylon. Not sure if you could dye it back to mustard but maybe you could dye it all the way navy or black and at least still wear it?

Thanks, I’m away this weekend but when I get back I think I’ll give that Dr Beckmann stuff a try. If it doesn’t work, I’ll dye the dress.

I have never tried the Dr Beckman stuff so can’t comment, but washing it a few times alone, with a colour catcher sheet should also help.
