Can I save this school uniform?

My DD just started Reception last month and already her red school cardigans look awful and dark and washed out. Is there anyway of saving them or will I have to buy new?
I thought about dying them red again but I'm guessing that will also dye the embroidered logo?
I would be grateful for any advice either on saving the cardigans or stopping future uniform from fading so quickly.

The problem with dying then is school uniform often has a high % polyester. The poly fibres don't pick up the dye. A high polyester white thing would turn pink rather than red, and it could be patchy. That said, if you are about to replace them anyway, it might well be worth a punt at dying then first. I have found logos survive dye well (100% polyester maybe?), but why not try if you're prepared to buy new anyway?

You could also replace with generic plain cardis from the supermarket - have a look at whether other children in th school do that. One of my children lived in Next school jumpers in infants as he was fussy about textures.

I wonder if you just have extremely high standards or if you have got a faulty batch. It is ridiculously early for uniform to be wearing. Are you washing them with something dark that is leaching colour on them? Maybe newish jeans, or even pinafores? We wash brights separate from darks these days.
