Help - red crayon on beige carpet !! How can I get it off?

My darling DS has just got red crayon on my beige carpet - I've tried getting it off but no luck - Anyone have any hints?????

WD40? Gets it off walls, not sure with carpet...good luck! Or hairspray if no WD40.

Will give hairspray a go - the wd40 is in the depths of the shed and it's peeing down. Thanks

usually work for anything that's oil based

Mmm just an idea but I would try a wet t towel over the wax and a warm iron and see if it draws it away.

Mind you I would check it with someone to see if it would burn the carpet!
