Smelly leather sofa

Asking for a friend.
Can anyone recommend a cleaning/deodorising product that would remove an unpleasant smell from a leather sofa?
She has no idea what has caused the smell and the sofa is not visibly grubby.

I have just bought a leather cleaner by star drops- think I got it on amazon. It smells of coconut - it is a leather cleaner and polished so might work. You can also get leather woes but not v eco
