Orange highlighter pen on painted furniture

We got some lovely new bedroom furniture.....and last week I found a streak of what looks like orange highlighter pen on it. Both my children (obviously) deny any knowledge of it, but I’m pretty sure that’s what it is. Any suggestions as to what might remove it? It’s painted cream if that makes a difference.

Try a quick blast of hairspray and wipe straight off, it works on walls.
Maybe do a test on the underside first, though, in case it doesn’t go according to plan...

Nail polish remover without acitone.

Only had the bog standard nail polish remover, so tried the hairspray as @HeadintheiClouds suggested. It worked!!! Thank you....
