I'm off for swimming again in a bit, then it's a FLYday fro me. I'm going to do as many 15 min bursts around the whole house as I can fit around entertaining children.

Hello It's raining here too this morning
We have nothing much planned for the day so will be trying our best not to go out unless the rain stops.
FGS there are a couple of children I know who've had glasses since an early age and they're pretty cool, the frames you can get these days are great. My dd has been jealous of one of her friends who has a sparkly pair of glasses (I've also had glasses from the age of 3 but had the naff NHS frames, not so cool by any stretch)
I'm having a FLY day today too Jas. The spare room is coming together well but the rest of the house has been neglected so I need to~

Morning ALL

Really rubbish night's sleep for me last night so I have to take it easy today. Ed is watching The Phantom Menace (nooooooooooooooo) at the moment so I'll enjoy the me time.

Told DH off for playing Su Doku before basic morning chores were done. I know he was miffed but, it needed doing.

Done
Up
Bed made
Draw curtains
Make Ed's bed and draw his curtains
Downstairs with laundry
Load WM
Make breakfast
Get washed and dressed
S&S bathroom
S&S loo
Hang out the damp washing from yesterday (it's raining so I can't peg out)

To do
Vac up
Tidy round
Ironing
Make lunch
Entertain Ed
Make pack up for tomorrow

Ed and I are off to The Deep in Hull tomorrow. Hope it's as good as they say.

You two are funny

One day I will buy a new mouse, and no one will recognise me.

I've done 15 mins in the kitchen, and made tonights tea.
I've done two loads of washing.

This room next. It has stuff lying around everywhere again.

i thought you did buy a new mouse?

I did, and it was worse than the old one, so I went back to the old one.
There isn't anywhere here that sells them cheap, and apart from accidentally ordering two of everything if I shop online, it doesn't cause a problem, so it is at the bottom of my to-do list.

lol jas

The little wheelie scroller thingies (that is the correct technical term you know) on top of my mouse have broken so I can no longer scroll a page unless I use the thingy-ma-jig at the side of the screen...very frustrating. I think that came about after ds threw the mouse down the stairs in a temper one day last week

I've hardly touched my list but the bathroom is sparkling and clean and my bedroom floor is clear of clothes

Better get on some more, dd wants a friend to play later and I'd be if anyone turned up at the moment....

morning ladies raining here too.

Done : unpacked girls bag and wash on
emptied dishwasher and reloaded
played with girls a little
sorted out banking on line
put clean clothes away
pile to be ironed.

To do:
have shower and wash hair
unpack my big case

Then hotspots
bathroom mission if i have time.

Although glad to be home raining!! thought we'd left the rain in Ireland. Loads to do hope you are all well. I just want to keep busy and get everything done before we head off tomorrow again!!! It will be a nice happy visit i hope for the girls to english grandparents. Unfortunatly my mum passed away and although the girls have been so well behaved over the time of the funeral etc... It will be nice for them to visit all their young cousins and let off some steam.

On a lighter note my hubby comes home next week this day next week he will be knocking on our door!!!!!!!!!!! Soooooooooooooooo cannot wait to see him.

Hi everyone.

Thanks for the words of advice. I think my main sadness for DD is that this is an astigmatism (sp) and so isnt going to change at all.

Anyway, rainy here too so a bit of tv this afternoon. Cant be bothered with much housework although I've done the basics.
