P.E. kit bags

A quick question for parents of primary school children. I am making some items for a craft stall. When my children were at primary school they all had a bag which they hung on their peg containing their P.E. kit. Do they still use these or do they just take their kit on days they need them? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Ours take them and leave them in a school issued bag.

Yes.
But a lot use foot locker or foot asylum drawstring bags.

Mine had PE kit in school the whole time but in a school-issue bag.

Mine take pe kit on pe day and not at other timed

Thanks for replies. It seems it varies according to the school. I’m going to make some drawstring bags that could be used for P.E. kit or maybe toy storage.

They might also be useful (and more appreciated) as ballet kit bags.

Or a swimming bag

Ballet bags? Mmn. Any suggestions for size, and do you think a drawstring or handles, like on a tote bag? I have made adult tote bags but not sure about the right size for younger people and length of handles.

It is years since she did ballet, but my DD needed a bag to contain:
ballet shoes, leotard, skirt, cardigan, tights, and hair accessories
Carryable over a shoulder or on back is better than only hand held I think.

Great. Thanks for advice.

What about swim bag in a waterproof fabric?

Lindy2 · 29/09/2019 16:40

PE bags are school logo ones but we do use drawstring bags for out of school activities like swimming and dance classes.

SuperSange · 29/09/2019 16:41

We've got a couple; one for pe and one for swimming. They're fab.

I will have a look at waterproof material. Not sure I have seen any around. Thanks.
