Am I the only one who thinks Turbo mop is shit?

I bought this after all the rave reviews here & it's the shittest.

The mop has always been sopping wet - just put more pressure on it when spinning & the fucking thing has broke. I'm raging.

I think it's back to an old stainless steel bucket type thing. Any other recommendations that actually can be wrung properly?

I mop with a cheap cotton mop once a week and use the spray mop daily from homebargains.

I think the traditional one is the way to go. I like the method squirt stuff for a fast clean

I’m too tight for method, I buy the Aldi all in one & ad a teeny amount to the spray mop.

I think the spray mops are rank, they just push the dirt around because your not getting rid of the dirt from the mop head like you do with a mop and bucket.

I have the turbo mop and it’s good but not in one of my bathrooms which has tiny Victorian tiles and it just flips about all over the place!

I think any mop and bucket will do really, Lakeland and dungeon have a good selection of traditional ones.

Dungeon!? Dunelm Smile

A two section bucket is imperative otherwise you are just pushing the dirt around.

I bought one. Liked it for a while then I realised it was just a gimmick so went back to a normal one. Then I bought a Shark steam cleaner and absolutely love it. I’ve had steam mops before which were rubbish but the Shark one is amazing. My floors are so clean and I haven’t ‘mopped’ my floor for a year. I just use the steam mop daily.

But back to the original question, yes the turbo mops are rubbish. Do you mean the Vileda one? I found the mop heads to be poor quality and don’t seem to last with frequent washing (I wash at least once a eeek) I was replacing them all the time!
