Stain on white microfibre t shirt

Hi

I've tried washing and then washing after having pretreated with vanish. It wasn't a stubborn stain but it's not like cotton for being able to scrub at. I also initially tried to rub it with a wet wipe and I don't know if it's spread and set the stain.

Is there anything else I can try? It's a brand new t shirt so really annoyed. The stain is also on some wording printed on the tee so might be a bit limited.

Thanks

Do you know what caused the stain? Was it spilt food or something?

dementedpixie · 26/09/2019 15:50

Try rubbing washing up liquid into it before washing. Do you know what caused it?

moreismore · 26/09/2019 15:51

Soak it overnight in napisan

BarkandCheese · 26/09/2019 15:52

Have you tried hanging it up in direct sunlight (not that easy at this time of year I know). Sunlight works wonders on certain organic stains.

Give Violets mineral bleach a go

You could try Stain Devils if you know what the stain is. They seem to shift most things.

My DD wiped hand on me after eating buttered toast. That's it! I used a wet wipe at the time but it looks worse after having washed it. I'll give napisan and sun a go. It just seems really stuck between the fibres on this microfibre and unlike cotton I can't seem to scrub it out with vanish.

I've just bought another top as it's gone into the sale if all else fails Grin

I'd rub washing up liquid on it then soak then wash it.
I have had good results on cotton with Elbow Grease spray.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 27/09/2019 19:34

I would definitely use Stain Devils for grease. It's the only thing I've found that works.
