Great pics Luda and tort
FGS sorry about your dd - hope she's better soon
Bewilder you're doing really well

I have completely turned our spare room upside down. There's loads of clutter so I have a big bag for the charity shop and lots of books for the Oxfam bookshop, a bag of rubbish, some bits for a car boot/yard sale and a few things for the loft. It's not done by any means but at least it's started to such a degree that I can't go back on it this time (yikes!)

Better go and feed ds now. Dh is having a nightmare in what sounds like a very busy Ikea

shouldbe · 12/08/2007 15:49

Ds and I have been for a walk to look at some tractors and a baler that are working in a field opposite our house we've had a lovely time

The fairies haven't been and tidied up while we were out though

gibberish · 12/08/2007 15:55

Hellooooooooooooooooooooo!

grouchyoscar You are on a roll!

I've been very very lazy lately (as you may have noticed from my lack of frequenting the FLY threads of late).

The saga of the kitchen continues. Still not finished and I have had no water in the kitchen for a week. I've been assured it will be done by Tuesday although last week I was assured it would be finished today...

So I can't be arsed to do housework around all the mess. Just generally tidying up and trying to keep things organised but I have almost lost the will to live now.

Off to finish a portrait of my friend's dad. She's just found out he has only about two weeks to live

Well aren't I just a ray of sunshine today? Sorry, I'm actually in a good mood today although it doesn't sound like it. Glad you are all ok.

ludaloo · 12/08/2007 16:20

Hello

gibberish hello for your friend though...how awful what a lovely thing to do though...a portrait!

I have watched Eastenders..
Ironed a whole basket of clothes
Made a lasagna for supper
Done some more washing
Folded two loads up and have just put them all away
Off to wake dd2 who has been asleep for hours!
Guinea pigs need cleaning out (god do they POO!!)

See you all in a bit

ludaloo · 12/08/2007 17:18

DD2 awake...and grumpy!

Guinea pigs all cleaned out, and are out in the sun in their run

Supper is on

House is not looking too bad but is in need of a hoover (as ALWAYS!) I must hoover twice...sometimes three times a day! I'm resisting the urge until after supper!

gibberish · 12/08/2007 18:52

Hi luda I seem to be constantly hoovering too - doesn't matter how tidy the place looks, if it needs hoovered it looks awful!

I'm looking for a run for our guinea pigs. We put up a makeshift run for them in the garden when it is nice, but I could do with getting a proper one. They are so cute, the girls love them.

Bewilderbeast · 12/08/2007 20:03

evening

done:
drop things down at mother's
go shopping - finally spent birthday vouchers after over 2 months
tidy up (dh did most of it so I can;t take credit")
did a bit on tidyin gin the garden

have given up on the chicken. we're having scampi and chips

grouchy I can't believe your list its fantastic

grouchyoscar · 12/08/2007 20:11

Ah - bit of an emotional moment after the evening meal...we let the snails go. We'd had them for months and after laying 2 batches of eggs it was only fair.

I finished the book. A page each for the snails, and one for activities, what they liked to eat , where the lived and why they were let go. Then we took a wine glass of red grape juice out, toasted their new home and Ed put each one in the compost bin. Then he said 'I will miss my pets'

I enjoyed keeping them, they were good fun.

Ah well, time to tuck petless Ed in now. Nighty night all.

Evening everyone.

Not read the thread but I hope everyone are having a fab weekend.

I am having a good weekend but missing DSs and HNtree. They are having a fab time. Lego land Yesterday. They were going into London today. DS2 said they were going for tea with the Queen. LOL

DD and me have been having fun outside. I dont think I want to see play food for a few days though. LOL She came in my bed last night. Did/would not go in her bed. I think shes wonder why the other are not here. She is ok in the day it seems to be just the night time she so lost with them away.

FLYing is going ok. Washing up after each meal. Hoovered today and done a load of washing, dried, ironed and put away.

Dont know what to do tomorrow as it is suppose to rain Looking like its going to be an indoors day.

Talk again soon.
