Finish glass protector

Hi. My glassware is coming out with small scratch marks from the dishwasher after a certain amount of washes. Has anyone tried the Finish glass and dish protector and if so, does this work. Don't want to buy if it doesn't work.

It’s caused by high temperatures cracking the glaze on the glass, the glass goes cloudy then.

It’s happened to me when I’ve put glasses on the bottom at 55c rather than use the 45c gentle cycle.
