Which draining mat or board or rack?

I don't want draining grooves cut into the worktop of new kitchen, but would like something to prevent water puddling on the worktop or dribbling sideways on to the floor.
Something that I can stow away when not required.
It's just for saucepans etc and the odd thing that doesn't go in dishwasher
What's good and what's rubbish please?
