can you freeze milk?

dh and i both realised we needed milk and went out and bought 4 pints... can it be frozen?

Yes but takes a good 12 hours to defrost x

is it ok when it defrosts? not manky? i'm worried about it seperating.
would it be better to freeze the semi-skimmed or the whole milk?

We freeze semi-skimmed no problem.

I freeze semi skinned and it is exactly the same as before freezing. No probs.

Just remember to get it out in plenty of time. I usually get mine out the night before, lay it on a piece of kitchen roll (to soak up any water) and her presto - it is ready in the morning
