Yesterday wasn't the day for Misdee and Peter

Here is today's mission

hello all, not done much today as we've had the roofers in (again):

washing on
washing up done
shopping done
quick tidy up upstairs
rubbish out
been to nursery to sign registration paperwork

To do

baby meals for freezer
bit of gardening

get drunk -DP is irritating the hell out of me

We picked loads of blackberries about two weeks ago, too. The girls came home with more yesterday.

grouchy - Is this a regular event? (DP does it too, but always finds something else. He left his last job last Friday and started a new one today. I hate the uncertainty that goes with it, but have come to accept that he will walk out on most jobs given enough time.)
I hope he gets something sorted quickly.

I've done very little FLYing. The kitchen is ok, all the missions done. The rest of the house is a disaster.

Luda Hamma beads are great. BUT they do get all over the floor! My ds1 uses them a lot. Maxi beads are really good for younger ones too. I get our bits from here

Kids have had a great time water sliding today. Poor grass is a bit soggy and messy! Will be putting pics on profile in a minute.

Suddenly realised today that it is already just over a week until we go away. Where has the week gone?

Grouchy hope dh manages to sort something else soon.
Luda I got the vibes but was fighting with the kids to eat supper so couldn't get away Dd loves hama beads (she won her first set in a competition and has been hooked since) They do end up everywhere though.

I've had a good afternoon. The kids have had fun inthe paddling pool - leaving the house nice and tidy
Then a parcel of school uniform arrived so they both had a trying-on session and did our neighbour a fashion show
We've battled over supper but they did eat in the end and now we're waiting for dh to arrive home so we can all go for a walk/scooter/bike ride

Oh, and I sorted my airing cupboard too

Luda Hama are ones you iron. there are bindeez and aqua beads but haven't tried them!
They did have a lot of fun!

Its been a long time from when I last posted. I see there are some new names. Hi to you all.
HN tree is taking DS1 and 2 on holiday from tomorrow for a week. They are going all over the place and staying at B+Bs. So it just doing to DD and me for a week.

I need to get back to FLYing again. It is going to be baby steps for a while though. I have been doing little bits for a few weeks. I get very tired very quickly so it is going to be 15 minutes work and 15 rest for some time I think. I have just got to stop mum from doing the work for me. It is hard for her as she knows if I do to much then I will get very tired and get some pain but I really have to do things so I feel part of the family. IYKWIM Dont know what I/we would have done with out her all these months.

Hope to speak more and soon. Maybe over the weekend. Its going to be fun with just DD and myself but dont want to over do things.

Its going to be good to be back Lots of reading and catching up to do!!

I hope they do. They are going with one of HNtree friends and her to grandchildren (DSs as well and the same age) Her friend done the same last year and said the GC really enjoyed it. It is going to be very quiet over the next few days.

Funny how all the stuff it seemed impossible to achieve for the last few weeks suddenly got done today...oh yeah that's right, because MIL and FIL are coming tomorrow. Nothing like a good dose of the in laws to get those FLY juices flowing.
