Blood stain on birthing pool

Dear Mumsnet intelligentsia, my wife gave birth to our wonderful son a couple of days ago. She used a birthing pool, which due to crap liner resulted in a few spot of blood falling on the rim of the pool, which have dried rock solid and stained the plastic for all eternity. I’ve tried leaving a baking soda paste on it for 30 min, Flash with bleach spray, but no luck. Any advice?
I’d love to have this all sorted by the end of the week when my wife gets to return home! Any advices gratefully taken!!!

You could try leaving it in the sun. That seems to fade stains amazingly.

Try using some 'ace' bleach for clothes. It took a blood stain from our paddling pool once soaked for a while in the sun. Congratulations on the birth of your son Smile

Hydrogen peroxide.

£1.20 from chemist's, get 9% if you can. It kills bacteria and gets rid of organic stains like. Blood, Urine and vom etc Beautifully. Spray it in! Watch it froth! Rinse it off after a few Hours.

Thanks everyone. A few hours in the sun completely removed the blood stain!
Amazing.
