Anyone use this Koh cleaning system that is all over Facebook?

Is it just another scam or will one spray of the multi use thing get the grease off my oven, the soap scum off my shower screen and every other thing that needs cleaning?

Don't want to be sucked in but equally if it's going to change my life.

Scam

DrMumMum · 10/09/2019 14:31

I was wondering this too. Inbox, have you tried it?

inboxmayhem · 10/09/2019 16:46

It's a bit like those clothes they advertise on FB, they look good, sound good .... but when they actually arrive 100 days late, they are NOTHING like advertised

Beebumble2 · 10/09/2019 18:36

It’s potassium hydroxide and water, so chemicals. You can mix it yourself vert cheaply.

Nix2020 · 10/09/2019 19:50

I like the spray bottle and I like that it can be used on different things. It's not as amazing as the advert make it look. I like that it doesn't have a scent and does bring up glass well

Allieswebs · 10/09/2019 20:36

I do and really like it. I was very sceptical but I think they had a money back guarantee on so it took a gamble.

I think the best bit is the lack of smell, I cleaned the shower screen while the kids were in the bath (it swivels outwards, so I didn't spray the kids!). I find it you spray and leave it a minute or two it works best, and it's definitely cut down on the elbow grease needed to shift the soap scum. It cleans my outer oven door and mirrors so much better than anything else. The cloth's that come with it are high quality too. I think the black blocks do a big chunk of the inside oven door cleaning, but they do a good job.

I do have a referral code if you want to try it, i think it's a fiver off for you and I get a fiver credit. They have this for every customer, so if you like it and spread the word you can build up credit too.

It's really nothing special. Does not shift grime nearly as efficiently as the promotion suggests. It's ok on glass (Method or W7 glass cleaner from Lidl better though). As others have pointed out, if you don't like strong cleaning smells it's great as it's neutral. I added some essential oil to my Koh so that I could tell I had actually cleaned!

Bloomburger · 10/09/2019 20:45

Thanks for all the posts. I'll stick to method and eco zone and making my own then. Thought it looked a bit too good to be true 🙄

I really like it. No smell so it doesn't trigger my asthma, works well and the cloths are great quality.

HoneyBee03 · 12/09/2019 12:35

I'm surprised that most PP's don't like it - I love this stuff! It's cleaned stuff we were struggling to with other cleaners. We used it to clean the bath and FINALLY removed the very old soap scum (we rent, I thought the bath was just very old and needed replacing) it also removed every single mark off the shower door which I usually struggle to do. It makes everything so shiny. It seems to work as a polish as well as a cleaner and I definitely don't have to scrub as hard to lift dirt off surfaces. The cloths it comes with are nice, as are the diamond sponges.

LunaMay · 12/09/2019 12:42

My sister swears by it, we tried some of hers for some carpet stains at work and i was pretty impressed at how quick and easy it lifted the marks that had been there for a while.

ChicCroissant · 12/09/2019 13:30

I am tempted after reading this, although nothing does an oven door better than a hob scraper IME, just blasts through the stuff in seconds!

Shantotto · 12/09/2019 13:46

It’s not a scam like buying something from a dodgy website is it’s a legit product!
I haven’t used but a friend thinks it’s wonderful.

Winesalot · 12/09/2019 14:49

I have just used it on my oven. Not so great on the baked on oil on the bottom of the oven. Really excellent on the glass door. Even better, no fumes or smells!
