Really cheap vacuum cleaner?

Due to laziness, I’m thinking of buying a second hoover for upstairs, as we really need to hoover there more often than we do, but it’s such a faff taking the hoover upstairs and back down again (As I said, pure laziness really). But we don’t have the budget to buy anything expensive. Has anyone bought a very cheap but actually decent hoover they could recommend? Thanks!

Oooo watching with interest as I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I've had a look on eBay at cordless ones.

I’ve just had a look on fb marketplace, but a bit worried I’d be buying a dud, or that the house had smokers/pets, as hoovers really pick up a smell!

Hi OP Iv literally just ordered this-

https://direct.asda.com/george/home/vacuums-steam-mops/black-goblin-gsv101b-19-handheld-stick-vacuum-cleaner/050726708,default,pd.html?cmpid=ppcgeorgergeggle-plaOD16HOMEOMEGARDENEN-----dskwid-s92700047078252265dm&gclsrc=aw.ds&&gclid=CjwKCAjw8NfrBRA7EiwAfiVJpbAm1jIHztp-FLlsgXKcXW99oKt0wX7NxiP5KPPQwTcRw19UNPl9xoC6boQAvDD_BwE

Sorry for long link, bought to use on the stairs and upstairs can't go wrong for £15 and small and will fit in the store room,

It's also free click and collect literally ordered a hour ago so can't comment on how it works but the reviews look good x

Oh, let me know how well it works, littlemiss!

Thanks for the other recommendations, I’ll have a look in b&m when I go there next! And the amazon one looks like it’s a decent one, but a tad over budget so will check the other options first, but good to know that’s around!

I bought an Argos basics one five or six years ago. It's absolutely fine. I'll never buy an expensive one again.

Might be worth getting then, as I’d rather pay a bit more if it’ll last longer.

I second the Argos basics one! It was about £15 and is a million times better than the £200 stick type one that I bought last year. No idea why I bought the stick one, the Argos one has never let me down!
