Does anyone know how to get damp out of a sofa and an armchair?

We recently got them secondhand and although they are almost brand new, they've been in storage and you can smell the damp. I'm not sure if it's in the pillows. We've got the heating on full blast and a dehumidifier going but not sure if anyone has got any better (and less expensive) ideas or tips?

Thank you!

What's you're weather forecast?

Taking off all removable covers and leaving outside on a nice sunny breezy day can help. As can washing the loose covers

@MoggyP currently on/off rain for the next few days, but will keep an eye on this bipolar weather in case it takes a turn as it's a fab idea. Read the label and it stated not to wash as it can remove some of the retardants which is a pain. The fillings are thick foam also.

Going to unzip them all and leave by the radiators for the night. Hopefully that'll at least take away any damp that may have been in them. Will just need to tackle the smell 🤷🏽‍♀️

Bicarb of soda sprinkled on and hoovered off the next day?
