Yes, its me! I'm starting the thread at a stupid time! Have done most of my housework for the day as well as 2 baskets of ironing!

My done list:

washing up and drying up
shined sink
washed down all the kitchen sides
1 load of washing
cleaned the bathrooms

Right am off to bed now, will be back later with a proper list of what is to be done later when the kids are up and about.

FGS Aufish get some sleep! How do you manage with such late nights? I need to be in bed by 10.30pm or I'm tired and grumpy the next day...
Plus I have to tolerate our neighbours' wretched roosters crowing from 4am onwards and small children waking at silly-o'clock....

Luda welcome back - hope camping was fun
simply have a great holiday
tort lol at getting the kids to wear enough clothes for 4 days when you go camping

Dd has an activity to go to this morning so I'll need to get her dressed and ready soon.
Ds and I will need to entertain ourselves for the morning. I may take him swimming...

I didn't s&s the bathroom yesterday so would like to that at some point and hoover upstairs.

Hope you all have a good day, another sunny one here

Morning Aufish ( 2am! I'd look like death warmed up if I stayed awake that late. Hope you got some sleep anyway ) You must not have any wrinkled clothes left in your house LoL!

Morning shouldbe We had a lovely few days thankyou. Very hectic with 6 kids in a small tent but good non the less . Had to cut it short by a day as SIL's dog has had puppies and she really wants to go back and see to them.

Morning to All

Simply have a good break

Right, well I have to dash, lots of washing and stuff.....we came back yesterday and didn't even do the washing up on the campsite....could not be faffed washing up in a communal sink with cold water...so put it all in a bin liner and now it is all ready to go into the dishwasher! ... hope you all have had a good weekend

Ohhhhh tort are you going camping? (sorry haven't read through the weekend thread yet)
Hope you have fun
(Tip of the week coming up.....DO NOT PITCH YOUR TENT ON A SLOPE ... (we kind of did) cups don't stay on tables very well and the kids all end up in a heap at the bottom of their sleeping bags in the morning LOL!!

Ah found the thread. tort if you are going on a train I'd give airbeds a miss....they are the comfiest option, but they are very heavy to carry...unless maybe you got the one's that you can use in the sea...but then I expect they would get very sweaty at night. You can get quite comfortable roll up mats, they are fairly cheap and very light to carry. It was quite mild at night, and if you are going this month you should be ok I'd have thought. Good tip for clothes...don't pack them all neatly as you would normally, a great space saver is to roll each item up. You can fit loads more into a bag by rolling them They don't look too bad when you un - roll them too.

where are you all? I'm doing quite well...done several loads of washing, done several loads of dishwashing, made all the beds, put some washing away, washed the bath out (have you ever seen a bath after 10 people who have just come back from the beach have all had a bath!!!....eeewwwww!)

Off to do some more

I hope you are all making the most of the sun and the holidays anyway

Morning ALL and welcome back Luda Aufish I was awake at that time too! A touch of fretting insomnia re the wedding but I'll get over it. It's a fortnight on Saturday BTW

This mornings DONES

Up
Make bed
Down with laundry
Load WM and run
Move some furniture round the front room
Get washed and dressed
Make Ed's bed
Make breakfast
Tidy away
Empty DW
Put away (Have to do that after DH has left for work as he clutters the kitchen table playing Su Doku (grrrrh))
Shine sink
Feed cats
reload DW
Move DAB radio to a more acceptable part of the kitchen

TO DO
Peg washing out
Make lunch
Tidy away
General chores
Play with Ed

I'll probably do the ironing outside as it's nice and sunny

lol Luda simple pleasures eh?

grouchy I'm sure the wedding will be fine. Do you have many duties as bridesmaid?

Dd is at her activity, she was a bit worried cos she didn't know anyone else but they looked a friendly bunch so I'm sure she'll be fine
I've taken ds for a ride on his new bike but he's lost a lot of his confidence since falling off it yesterday and would hardly ride today

Not done a stitch of FLYing yet

Nope, no duties, just starting to feel a little superflous and a bit 'poor relation' but that's just me being touchy tbh. The whole thing is very alien to me tbh

Ed has discovered Madagascar...10 time since sunday

Hello, am having a fairly lazy day today as I have done most of the jobs last night! I am quite fortunate that I can stay up at that time of night as I know I can sleep in till late as my other half comes in from work as the kids get up, if it was school though it would be a totally different matter, I would be going to be earlier.

My done list:

put away one basket of clothes, just need to do the kids stuff now
washed up the breakfast dishes
polished and hoovered
2 loads of washing
pegged out the washing
had a shower
cleaned out the upstairs sink as kids do not rinsed it out after cleaning their teeth
put down a clean bath mat

My to do list:

put away the kids clothes
2 more loads of washing - my last lot for the week
start sorting out the kids clothes for the visit
make tea
phone my mother for the kids to talk to her
shower the kids

Did the mission a couple of weeks ago so I have a very tidy cupboard. Only now buy cleaning products as the others run out and I only use cif cream and cif bathroom spray now as I find they don't get on my chest.

Well done FGS
I haven't done the mission yet but have hoovered and dusted upstairs and am about to clean the bathroom while the kids have an early bath.

We've had a lazy afternoon, the kids have been tired so I've let them play on the cbeebies website for longer than I should have this afternoon...I'll make sure they have a walk after supper to save me from feeling too guilty about it

Grouchy that is funny about Madagascar - I remember my little bro being into Robin Hood and he knew the script for Prince of Thieves and the Errol Flynn one off by heart. I think little boys are more obsessive like that.

Done Kelly's mission!
Cleaned en suite shower room
Weeded wardrobe

To do:

Hoover hall and stairs

Thanks Shoobie Ed does obsess a lot, we've had Flushed away, Incredibles and TMNT in the last few weeks. I'm raising him so bad ain't I?

DONE List for this aft

Pegged washing out
Made lunch
Vacced front room
Done a basket of ironing
Washed the downstairs windows
Dusted the mantle piece
Sorted out the soft furnishings in the front room (cushions, throws etc)
Bring washing in

To do
Put laundry away
Play with Ed

He seems a bit off it today, just wants to sit on the sofa with teddy and blanket...bless him. I think his booster jabs are kicking in.

Tomorrow it's a Teddy Bears Picnic at the local country park. Looking forwards to that

Hi all.
Welcome back luda. Thanks for tips. I bought 1 foam mat today for £4.99. I wanted to test comfort. Also have to think about how we can carry 3-5 of them! I have a thin duvet which is light and if folded in half it would be ok for DD's to sleep on(i think) so might only need 3 mats. I have a headache from thinking about it all today!

We had fun watching Simpsons movie at the cinema today. £20 for us all to get in . Thought DD2 would be free but no chance!

Anymore tips greatly received BTW! Will not be able to carry cooking stuff so thats will be one less job for me each day . think we will be able to make sarnies for lunch though.
