Double mattress, not an Eve/Simba one or their ilk

At long last, we are going to replace our mattress, Yay! It's a Silentnight no roll together one (ads had duck and hippo) which was brilliant, and wouldn't mind another one, but they no longer sell it.

Any recommendations on what to get? I don't want a latex one, as I get far too hot and will be heading menopause way in the next few years.

I really wanted a Hypnos one, but have heard bad things, and I'm not sure if the ones we've slept on in their hotels are the same ones they say they are.

Have you looked on the Premier Inn site for the Hypnos beds ?
They say they are the same .
MIL is thinking of one and I am planning to pop into our new Premier Inn and ask if she can have a quick lie down !
Don’t ask and you won’t get is my motto !
In all fairness nobody else near here sells them .

@Picklepickle123 I think because we had an awful nights sleep on my sil Tempur mattress, and the thought of latex and getting over hot like some reviews have mentioned (and I said in my op) does not appeal. Also, latex flattens quite quickly, so would end up with the dips we currently have. We have a memory foam topper which went flat quite quickly.
That, and they just do not appeal to me. Too many ads. Its like the Geotec vac and mower ads, put me off with how often they were saying look at how good we are! Reminds me of infomercials.

Try a Vi-Spring

I have a Hypnos mattress and it’s so comfy. I would definitely recommend them.

I have w really good one from Hohn Lewis. It’s called ortho something. Never get hot in it!

Or on it rather.

Mines a sprung mattress with a memory foam pillow top. Lovely and firm and super comfy with airflow for cooling also
