We have a very old condenser tumble dryer which we're looking to replace, mainly because of its age. Despite it being a condenser we still find that we have to open the window or the utility room gets quite steamed up. Being an old model I have to clean lint off the condensing unit every few months - I understand that this is not necessary with new models. Our current one is 6kg capacity so looking for one of similar size without the two above mentioned drawbacks. I use the dryer for several loads a week during the winter and when weather is rainy the rest of the year. I understand that new models have a long drying cycle. If you are pleased with your condenser tumble dryer please recommend the model to me. I'm interested to know whether you still have to have the window open and how long a load takes.
