Curtain tape

Hi I’ve just bought a new pair of curtains and stupidly when I was pulling the three strings through to gather the curtains I’d forgotten to tie a knot in one end and of course it’s pulled right through nearly.Ca I somehow rethread them ?

I did this once too. Do you have a needle with a very large eye? I had one from when I used to knit. Something like this:

Thread the cord through the eye and use the holes which will still be visible to put the cord back in place. It’s a bit fiddly but really not difficult.
