I love cheese. How is it possible to not like it.
St agur is the first blue cheese I've liked.
What's your favourite?

I just had some chunks of extra mature cheddar dipped in Marmite for 'dinner'.

Now eating coconut Toblerone.

Model diet me...

Mollyboboff · 21/08/2019 21:28

Comte. You will thank me.

iklboo · 21/08/2019 21:30

DS(13) and I love sharing a good quality Camembert with crusty bread & chutneys.

I've tried pretty much every blue cheese out there. Don't like any of them.

Current favourite is cheddar with balsamic onion.

Winter2019 · 21/08/2019 21:34

Love love cheddar. Also feta/balkan cheese

MadameForest · 21/08/2019 21:36

A really mature compte is heaven. As is a really ripe unpasteurized camembert (take the too off an press your thumb into the cheese if it sinks it is ripe) I love living in France

headlock · 21/08/2019 21:37

I've just had some of this. It's amazing.

Stilton is my absolute favourite but I like most cheeses. I honestly prefer it to chocolate.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 21/08/2019 21:40

Dolcelatte piccante.

headlock · 21/08/2019 21:42

I have had Camembert in the past and like it but it's really smelly in the fridge! I've been meaning to get one to heat up and dip bread in.

Love Port Salut. But now I'm going to have to spend £££ at our local (artisan) cheese shop this weekend.

Ffsnosexallowed · 21/08/2019 21:45

I treated myself to some alp blossom cheese today www.lafromagerie.co.uk/alp-blossom beautiful beautiful cheese, but ridiculously expensive!

desperatelyseekingcaffeine · 21/08/2019 21:45

Black bomber is amazing! Had some at a wedding and loved it. Just come back from Wales so stocked up there. Not keen on blue cheese, love cheddar, parmesan or feta though.

iklboo · 21/08/2019 22:26

See, I love cheese but it doesn't love me. I go scarlet from face to nipples (almost purple), very, very hot to touch and slightly wheezy.

wowfudge · 21/08/2019 22:35

Brilliant savarin. Vignotte. Mature cheddar.

isseywithcats · 22/08/2019 12:45

aldis vintage caledonian cheddar is ace its really strong but creamy nutty taste , feta cheese , mozzeralla bites from iceland , white stilton with apricots, can you tell i like cheese , but not over keen on blue cheese

Littlepond · 22/08/2019 12:48

I recently discovered Blue Brie. Game changer.

lisbet679 · 22/08/2019 12:50

A really good stilton with crackers and a glass of red

JaneJeffer · 22/08/2019 12:52

Thanks. Your thread reminded me to take my Brie out of the fridge Grin

Rockchick1984 · 25/08/2019 00:02

@ffsnosexallowed do you eat the flowers etc on the outside of that???

Ffsnosexallowed · 25/08/2019 12:04

I don't.

CharminglyGawky · 25/08/2019 12:22

A good Stilton is hard to beat, as is a very mature cheddar.

Smoked cheeses will probably always be my favourite cheese though, especially the ones that are made in a sausage shape Grin

Moondancer73 · 25/08/2019 13:58

Y fenni has to be one of my favourites - cheddar with ale and mustard seeds. As far as blue cheese goes Dorset blue bunny is a nice one, mozzarella bites from m and s and a good feta always makes me happy
