Stain removal - cat sick on sofa!

Hi,
Can anyone help with some advice for my niece please? She was away recently and the cat was sick in sofa. Neighbour came in and tried to clean it off but has left a large water mark and it still smells of sick. Any tips as to how she might get rid of the stain? And the lingering smell? Pic attached.. Ta.

You need something with enzymes to deal with the smell - either something sold for pet stains or bio washing powder dissolved in warm water should do it. You may need to do the whole of the top of the cushion to avoid the water mark, but the trick is not to get it too wet to try to avoid a tide mark in the first place.
