Dyson or Shark?

We have a Labrador who sheds. Our upright dyson has just died and we are looking to get a cordless one now. I hear Shark are very good especially with pet hair. Over the years we have had dyson but they seem to be prone to breaking and so am now looking for a possible alternative that is just as good. Has anyone experience of either of their cordless varieties and cost comparisons?

We’ve had both and I really rate the Shark, suction is great and it’s really nifty, even the kids like using it!

We got a Dyson V10 last October and it has been brilliant, easy to handle and good at picking up. The ONLY problem is that the whole motor died after 8 months and the head unit had to be replaced. To he fair Dyson were great and sent out a new one with no question. It has put me off buying one next time though

I’ve had both and prefer the Shark. Have pets too. The Sharks cord isn’t as long and you have to empty it more and it knocks over when it’s not in upright mode but apart from that I love it. I’ve burnt out countless Dysons.
