I'm going to pay myself to clean my house

I'm a cleaner. I'm a really good at it too! But I can't for the life of me keep on top of my own house. I have a few hours. So I'm going to do a quick tidy up (like most of my customers do before I come) and pay myself my going rate to clean the house, and do it in the same way as I would if it were a customer's place. Anyone want to play?!

I am not a cleaner, but I like the idea of paying myself. What will you spend the money on?

I'm going away next week so I will keep the money for some bonus selfish spends! They have nice charity shops in the town I'm visiting (posh area so good castoffs!!) So I may treat myself to some clothes.

I've done the tidying. Just having a 5 min break before my shift starts 😁

Oh, I quite like that idea.

Perhaps when I want to buy something that I will otherwise struggle to justify, I will just do a couple hours of solid cleaning so that I can partake in guilt-free shopping.

It's going well! I'm cleaning much more thoroughly and with a mich keener eye than I usually do, as I'm viewing it through a professional eye as opposed to seeing it as my own domain. The cash incentive is helping I must say!

What a good idea, I'll bet cleaning is the last thing you want to do on your days off though!
I think I'll pay myself for cutting the grass yesterday, wonder what the going rate is? I'll have to knock a bit off as it's not too neat Grin

This is a great idea I think I’ll try it!
