Getting the damp smell out of clothes

I left a load sitting in the wash too long after the cycle had finished. When I hung them to dry, the damp smell stayed in. Even after re-washing with detergent, the clothes still smell. Any tips for getting rid of the smell for good?

Rewash with zoflora in the fabric softener bit of the machine
