Help best cheap vacuum

Our Henry has just given up.

Really need a good, but cheap vacuum as it's the start of the holidays and hadn't budgeted for a new vacuum

We liked the Henry but it isn't the easiest to get up the stairs especially as we now have a loft conversion so need something easy to carry

Thanks

Try your local freegle or freecycle group.
Put it under Wanted, explain that you just need a working vacuum cleaner and say Please.
Have a look at the cheapest ones in supermarket, argos, etc.

Thanks - we are fine to get a new one - just don't know where to start looking and want a good value for money one

I've had a goblin one and a dirt devil one, both a bit 'budget' and they have been OK.
They did have one big problem though - they weren't used often enough.
My carpet usually changes colour when I vacuum.

The latest Which? magazine (August) says good things about Curry's Essentials C700VC18, £40. Verdict: Excellent value, no flashy features or accessories, but cleans well.

Thevacmat reviews vacuums of all budgets and quiet often has affiliate discount codes.
